Antwort Which Italian city is as beautiful but more affordable than the Amalfi Coast? Weitere Antworten – Where is better than the Amalfi Coast
Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, Italy
Costa Smeralda, on the northeastern tip of Sardinia, is one of the most beautiful (and exclusive) parts of the Emerald Coast. Upscale resorts, chic boutiques, and Michelin-starred restaurants line the marina in Porto Cervo, the heart of the Costa Smeralda. We love walking and exploring and beautiful beaches. Originally wanted to explore Amalfi and neighboring towns but kept hearing Sorrento is a better base and more affordable option.Cinque Terre is smaller with more family-run guesthouses and backpacker hostels, making it a better option if you're short of time or have a lower budget. On the other hand, Amalfi might be more up your street if you enjoy higher-end resorts, beach clubs and restaurants.
Which is prettier, Amalfi or Positano : You might find a lot of people say Positano is better than Amalfi as Positano appears to have nicer beaches, more restaurants, and shops. Positano also has some of the best scenic views. You'll want to show off to everyone with your view of colourful cliffside homes, blue sea, and beaches.
Is Puglia or Amalfi cheaper
Puglia offers many more reasonable pricing options, with accommodations and meals coming in at a more average Italian rate than the Amalfi Coast.
What is a cheap alternative to Positano : The towns of Positano and Amalfi are also very popular with tourists, but they still retain a lot of original Italian charm, and my favourite spot is in between them – Praiano – where you can find more modest accommodation and inexpensive food.
Praiano is a good alternative; it's right next to Positano but 5 times cheaper, and it'll only take you about 10-30 minutes on the bus to get to Positano. However, if you really are looking to save money, it's worth staying further away in a hotel in Sorrento or Salerno.
Being significantly less crowded than Amalfi, Sorrento offers a more relaxed Amalfi Coast experience, one that allows you to enjoy all the joys of the coast without ever overwhelming you!
Is Cinque Terre cheaper than Amalfi
COST. Cinque Terre is a more popular destination for backpackers or those travelling on a budget and is slightly cheaper overall than the Amalfi Coast. However, accommodation in Cinque Terre can still be expensive because options across the five small towns are quite limited, although the area does have some hostels. In Cinque Terre: Generally speaking, all around pricing in Cinque Terre comes in quite a bit lower than the Amalfi Coast in high season.Ultimately, the choice between Capri and Positano depends on your personal preferences and priorities for your vacation. If you're seeking a glamorous, high-end experience, Capri may be the destination for you. If you're looking for a more relaxed, romantic atmosphere, Positano might be the better option.
The choice between these iconic destinations ultimately depends on your preference, travel aspirations, and tolerance for crowds. While Puglia is not immune to tourism crowds, it typically provides a more authentic, rustic Italian experience that will capture your heart and leave you feeling good about your Italy trip.

Is Amalfi Coast overpriced
The Amalfi Coast is one of the most iconic places in Italy and quite rightly so, known for its rugged coastline, amazing cuisine and colourful villages. It's also one of the most expensive Italian holiday destinations. However, it is possible to visit the Amalfi Coast on a budget, and it's well worth the trip.
The Season. During the high tourism season, Amalfi Coast's restaurants, tours, and hotels can skyrocket in price. With the hotter months bringing in the swarms of crowds. Typically, the high season runs from April to the month of September, however, each month can vary in price. If you have a longer vacation and much time to spare, you might prefer Amalfi Coast for its variety of activities and nearby historical sites like Pompeii and Herculaneum. Lake Como is ideal for shorter, relaxed stays.
Is Cinque Terre or Amalfi Coast cheaper : Of course, so much depends on your choices – how you travel around, where and how long you stay, which restaurants you dine at, etc. But in general, the Amalfi Coast is a much more expensive destination than Cinque Terre. Good to know: It is possible to visit both destinations on a lower budget as well.
