Larnaca, located on the southern coast of Cyprus, is often the first point of entry for international travellers as it's home to the island's main international airport. Paphos is probably more popular with the British than Larnaca although both are quieter than usual at the moment. Is it better to stay in Larnaca or Limassol : It depends what you are looking for as we all like different things. Larnaca without hesitation, it is nicer, people are friendly, less traffic. Limassol is busy, not nice (only Molo is nice). With the Forex, casinos and other shaddy businesses the atmosphere is very superficial.

The best part of Cyprus to visit depends on your preferences. If you enjoy beaches and nightlife, consider visiting Ayia Napa or Limassol. For history and culture, explore Paphos or Larnaca. Nature lovers will appreciate the beauty of the Troodos Mountains and the Akamas Peninsula.
Is Paphos or Ayia Napa better : Paphos will be better for the pleasant walk as its in town, Agia napa is on a stertch outside town. Another thing to consider is the beach in Agia Napa is a 5 minute walk whereas Paphos I think its on the beach. However Agia Napa beaches are famous for the golden sand whereas Paphos a bit rocky.
