The most obvious difference between Ozark and Breaking Bad was the location. While Breaking Bad was set in the sunny desert of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ozark took place in central Missouri. The desert gave Breaking Bad a gritty noir feel, while the remote wilderness lent Ozark a more atmospheric and moody feeling.Ozark is worth investing in. Ozark's central characters are non-believers, one and all, but the inexplicable way their destinies are entangled to usher a semblance of balance posits an invisible hand guiding the motions.Crime drama Thriller

Is Ozark hard to watch
My only complaint is that the show was very hard to view, it is very dark. A lot of the show it was like watching a black screen. It was frustrating wondering what was taking place for a lot of it.
Is Ozark disturbing : While the violence in the series overall is not terribly excessive, it's quite occasional and very graphic when it happens. The violence includes shootouts, torture, and other disturbing acts of violence. Some death scenes are quite shocking. A man has his hand blown up with a shotgun.
With an 80.7% win percentage, Walt and Jesse's adventures in Breaking Bad have secured the ultimate prize worth way more than any amount of Blue Sky. Our views on this show weren't too far off as the IGN team placed Breaking Bad at #3 just behind The Simpsons and The Wire (which took #1).
Ozark sets itself in a high stakes environment and carries that high intensity throughout the series . The episodes and story are easy to watch and don't drag anything too much . As someone who gets bored very quickly , it kept me on my seat from the beginning . Jason Bateman gives an exceptional performance .
Is Ozark the best show
It's a show that demands your attention and rewards it with richly layered narratives and heart-pounding suspense. In conclusion, "Ozark" is a must-watch for any fan of gripping drama and intricate character studies. With a rating of 9/10, this series cements its place as one of the finest shows on television today. It's a slow burn but definitely top notch writing" / X.Ozark was such an amazing show during his 3 first seasons, a masterpiece of drama combining poignant intrigue, mastered production, meticulous writing touched by a dose of skillfully distilled black humor.
The family is in league with gangsters; violence is a threat and often erupts on-screen. Characters are suddenly shot or plummet from a skyscraper; we see blood and dead bodies (some prepared to be dumped), and a family including teen children is threatened with violent death.
Why don’t I like Ozark : A lot of plots ultimately lead to nothing more than a pointless storyline. The ending is a joke, it doesn't feel like an ending. Just a regression of most of the characters and the final scene is nonsense in every conceivable way. Ozark ending fails while Sopranos ending doesn't.
Is Ozark slow at first : Season one focuses on the Byrde family finding their footing in the Ozarks and while it is certainly a slow start as they attempt to rebuild what little of their life they have left, the first ten episodes aren't without thrill as they establish the true heartbeat of the series: the Langmores.
Is all of Ozark dark
Yes, the show deals with dark subjects and intense storylines, but it's also visually dark, and *very* blue, too. You'll be pleased to know that the moody aesthetic was, in fact, a conscious decision made by the creative team.
Overall, Breaking Bad season 2 doesn't have the high intensity as the later seasons, but it works effectively as a gradual slow burn with strong character development.Breaking Bad cost $3 million per episode to produce, higher than the average cost for a basic cable program. Around 2010, AMC had expressed to Sony Pictures Television and Gilligan that they felt that the third season would be the last for Breaking Bad.
What show beat Ozark : The Lincoln Lawyer
It's The Lincoln Lawyer, a new legal drama adapted from author Michael Connelly's book series of the same name. Netflix released the show's 10-episode first season, starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as the titular lawyer who works out of the back of a Lincoln town car, on May 13.
