Is Gran Canaria sunnier than Tenerife : Anecdotal evidence, yes, but for maximum sunshine, out of all the areas on these two islands I would recommend the south of Gran Canaria hands down – on the other hand, the Las Palmas area seemed cloudier than anywhere on Tenerife! Geography and nature: We found the islands very similar, but both very beautiful.
