You can just walk into The Shard to visit or eat at one of its delicious restaurants. However, you will need a ticket to The Shard to visit one of its glorious viewing platforms. The viewing platforms are on the 68th, 69th, and 72nd floors and require a ticket and time slot to visit.

Is it scary going up The Shard

First things first and it probably goes without saying, but if you're scared of heights – this is not one for you I'm afraid! The View from The Shard experience takes you all the way up to levels 69 and 72 of the 244 metre-tall building, which is predominantly made of glass, so that you get a panoramic view of London.A very good experience, especially with the excellent weather we had on the day of our visit. Great views of London and beyond from the 69th and 72nd floors. Booked tickets via Virgin Experiences and was given a 10% discount for signing up to their emails! Worth considering if not used before.How much does a meal at The Shard cost The meals at The Shard vary depending on the establishment and your chosen items. Some high-end restaurants like the Aqua Shard cost £40 for just their main course. On the other hand, casual restaurants such as the Oblix are reasonably priced at £30 per person for a set menu.

Main courses are priced at around £40 (€47.50), starters from £15 (€17.50) and desserts from £10 (€11.50) generally. If you want your experience at The Shard to be as complete as possible, don't hesitate to eat at one of the building's restaurants: Gŏng, Tīng, Sky Lounge or Bar 31.

Can you walk into the Sky Garden : A limited number of walk-in slots are available, however these are at the discretion of our staff and capacity of the Sky Garden.
