Why not use Outlook new : Performance is a real drag. The old Mail & Calendar opened in sub-second time with current mail already received. Outlook (new) takes around 5-10 seconds to finally see your latest mail. My biggest complaint is the calendar doesn't work offline and month does not scroll to current week when opened.
