The largest of Ireland's National Parks and the only one in the east, Wicklow features wide-open vistas, winding mountain roads and fast-flowing streams that descend into the deep lakes of the wooded valleys, including St Kevin's monastic settlement at Glendalough.Royal National Park is open 7am to 8.30pm but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger. Park entry fees: $12 per vehicle per day. Payment options include Audley Visitor Centre, vehicle entry stations, pay machines and the Park'nPay app.

The ETA, which costs £10 to apply for (approximately $12.50 or €8.50), offers pre-authorisation for entry into the UK. Approval for the ETA may take up to 72 hours, and once granted, it remains valid for up to 2 years.
